A fire caused quite the scare as it engulfed a wax salon in Weston early Wednesday morning.
About 30 firefighters from Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue responded to the scene at the Green Wax Body Waxing located off North Commerce Parkway around 3 a.m.
The firefighters were able to contain the blaze after seeing smoke pushing out the front door of the business.
Officials have not said what caused the fire to start, but say it may have been related to a piece of equipment inside.
No one was inside at the time and no injuries were reported. Investigators say damages were minimal to nearby businesses.
