Steven Gass, the alleged Old Man Bandit.

Steven Gass is the George Foreman of bank robbers.

The 55-year old, known in criminal and law enforcement circles as the Old Man Bandit, allegedly hit 21 South Florida banks in less than two years, proving you're never too old to be criminal.

But Gass' days of robbing banks are over after he was sentenced Friday to 13 years in federal prison for his crime spree. The Miami Springs resident was arrested in February after his last heist in Naples.

From 2008 to earlier this year, Gass robbed banks from as for north as Boynton Beach all the way down to Miami. He netted more than $137,000 from the jobs, federal officials said.

Mean while, the residents in Gass' quiet neighborhood had no clue they were living next to a criminal mastermind.
