Day three of the London Games will heat up with several gold medal finals for local Olympic athletes.
Ryan Lochte is set to compete in the men’s 200 meter freestyle final at 2: 43 p.m. ET. Lochte qualified with a time of 1:46:31.
So far in London, Lochte beat Michael Phelps in the 400 m IM, the first of two showdowns between the pair. Lochte, though, was overtaken in the 4x100 meter freestyle relay, where France took home the gold.
Danell Leyva will go for the gold and compete in the men’s team gymnastics at 11:30 a.m. ET.The 20-year-old who trains at Universal Gymnastics in Miami is poised to hit big in the games.
