Deputies are investigating a Deerfield Beach shooting that left one person dead Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting occurred just after 4 p.m. in Mayo Howard Park at 1131 SW 11th Way. The victim was an adult male, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.

The BSO said it was questioning four people Wednesday evening. One man was detained at the scene, and another man who ran into a nearby house was picked up by a SWAT team.
The cause of the shooting remains under investigation.
