One person died when a car caught fire in northwest Miami-Dade Saturday afternoon.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the Florida Highway Patrol responded to a report of a vehicle fire on Okeechobee Road and Krome Avenue around 4:30 p.m.
FHP trooper Joe Sanchez confirmed that one person died in the blaze.
It is unclear what started the fire.
No other information was immediately released.
