Orlando International Airport Adds Flights for Spring Break

Airport officials are expecting 10,000 additional travelers this weekend.

Orlando International Airport is ready for spring break.

The airport is increasing the number of flights into Orlando this weekend by more than 20 percent.

The largest addition is coming from the merged Southwest-AirTran, which is adding 63 flights into the airport.

Airport officials are expecting 10,000 additional travelers this weekend, a surge that rivals traffic seen during the holidays.

About 35 million passengers pass through the airport each year.
