Overtown Music & Arts Festival Serving Meals and Melodies in Downtown

The Overtown Music & Arts Festival is kicking off Saturday morning and organizers say they're expecting thousands in attendance.

Attendees can expect performances by nationally-known recording artists, an artwork expo, ethnic cuisine, unique crafts, jewelry and a vast array of entertainment.

CeeLo Green, Keyshia Cole, Tito Puente Jr. and other artists will perform.

Organizers say more 9,000 people turned out to last year's festival.

The festival is free to the general public at the Overtown Business and Entertainment District along Northwest Third Avenue between Eight and Tenth Streets. The festivities kick off at 11 a.m. and ends at 7 p.m.
