Pair Used 11-Year-Old Girls to Help Them Shoplift: Pembroke Pines Police

Two women are facing grand theft and child neglect charges after police say they stole thousands worth of clothes from a Pembroke Pines Macy's with the help of 11-year-old girls.

Harpie Dudley, 49, and Kaye Livingstone, 24, are also facing charges of using an anti-shoplifting device in the theft that happened Saturday at the Pembroke Lakes Mall, according to Pembroke Pines Police arrest reports released Tuesday.

According to the reports, Dudley and Livingstone had the two young girls select merchandise and bring it to the changing rooms, where they removed price tags and cut the anti-shoplifting devices in half.

The store's security cameras captured the incident, the reports said. When the woman left the store, they were stopped by an officer and taken into custody.

In all, the pair stole $2,316.39 worth of women's clothing and shoes, the reports said.
