Palin's Miami Appearance Postponed

Conservative "Hockey Mom" won't be in the Magic City this week

Republican "Hockey Mom" Sarah Palin's trip to Miami this week has been postponed, less than a week before the former vice presidential nominee was scheduled to appear at the AmericanAirlines Arena.

Tea Party Group SFLA Conservative, which was promoting the Oct. 6 event that was to be hosted by the Liberty and Freedom Foundation, said Sunday that a "scheduling conflict" led to the postponement of the event.

A makeup date hasn't been scheduled yet, but maybe Palin's waiting for the Panthers' season to be in full swing so she can catch a game in Sunrise.

Tickets for the event went on sale in September, and anyone who purchased tickets can use them at the rescheduled appearance or get a full refund.
