A female assistant principal at a Palm Beach County school was stabbed in the wrist while trying to break up a fight off campus, officials said.
The stabbing happened after the woman, who was working outside of Royal Palm Beach High School, saw a group of students fighting and tried to intervene, WPTV reported.
As she tried to break up the fight, the unidentified woman was stabbed, suffering minor injuries. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is investigating the stabbing, and there was no word on any arrests.
