The Florida Panthers will take on the Dallas Stars in a preseason game in London, Ontario on October 2nd.
Florida announced the game on Tuesday and now has two confirmed exhibition games upcoming at neutral locations. The game against the Stars will be played at Budweiser Gardens which is the home ice of the London Knights.
“We are very excited to showcase Panthers hockey outside of South Florida to a great hockey town like London,” said Panthers Executive Chairman Peter Luukko. “Budweiser Gardens is a first class facility and an excellent venue for fans to watch two exciting, 2015-16 division-winning teams, Florida and Dallas face off. It is sure to be a terrific event for both the players and the city of London.”
The Panthers will also play at the United States Military Academy at West Point. That game is set for October 8th against the New Jersey Devils. This contest will be the final game of Florida's preseason schedule.
Fans looking to attend the game in London will be able to purchase tickets starting on August 15th by calling 1-866-455-2849. The tickets can also be purchased from the arena's official website at BudweiserGardens.com.
Florida's first preseason game will come on September 27th when it hosts the Nashville Predators.
