One man is dead after he was struck and killed while crossing a road in Fort Lauderdale early Sunday morning.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, Alastair Crowell was driving southbound on State Road 7 near the intersection of SW 16th Street just after 3:30 a.m. Sunday when a pedestrian walked into the path of Crowell's car.
BSO has not yet identified the pedestrian, who died at the scene. Crowell remained on scene and cooperated with investigators. The accident is still under investigation.
