A Pembroke Pines Middle School was evacuated Tuesday morning after police learned of a bomb threat. Silver Trail Middle School was evacuated as a precaution after the "vague" threat was received by email overnight, police said.

A Pembroke Pines Middle School was evacuated Tuesday morning after police learned of a bomb threat.

Silver Trail Middle School was evacuated as a precaution after the "vague" threat was received by email overnight, police said.

School officials evacuated the school at Sheridan Street and Northwest 184th Avenue as a precaution until it could be searched by police dogs.

Officers searched the school and found nothing, and students were allowed to return to classes. The incident is being investigated.
