Students from Paladin Academy's Friends With Animals Club presented Everglades Abandoned Dog Rescue with a donation of pet food Tuesday.

The rescue group took several dogs to the Pembroke Pines school to meet and play with the K-12 students.

The students donated both cat and dog food to the group, which focuses on rescuing abandoned dogs from remote and rural areas of Florida. For more information on the group, visit abandoneddogrescue.org.
