Person Airlifted to Hospital After Road Rage Shooting in Miami Gardens: Police

A person was airlifted to the hospital after they were injured in a road rage shooting in Miami Gardens Wednesday, authorities said.

The shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. in the area of Northwest 160th Street and 32nd Avenue, Miami Gardens Police officials said.

Police said two people in a Ford pickup were chased by a black GMC Yukon and there was some sort of crash between the two vehicles.

Someone inside the Yukon shot at the victims in the truck, injuring one of them. The victims drove to a gas station parking lot near Northwest 165th Street and 27th Avenue for assistance. 

Officers had the station's parking lot closed off and were checking out the pickup that had multiple bullet holes.

No other information was immediately known.
