A man who was found bleeding on the ground in West Park Thursday night died from an apparent shooting, a Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman said.
“The victim was found outside near a pickup truck in the warehouse complex. We’re trying to figure out what he was doing in that warehouse complex," Mike Jachles said of the incident at SW 57th St. and 21st St.
Jachles said the victim, a white man whose age and name are unknown, was pronounced dead at the scene after Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies were called there just after 8:30 p.m. Fire Rescue units also responded.
Multiple shots were heard by witnesses; homicide detectives are investigating.
