Photographer Offers $10,000 Reward for Wedding Photos Stolen in Miami

A bride and groom whose undeveloped wedding photos were recently stolen from a car in Downtown Miami are asking South Floridians to "keep their eyes open" for the whereabouts of the priceless film.

"We are truly devastated by the theft of a box containing film with our wedding photos," the couple said in a statement. "We've been sweethearts for a long time and just had our dream wedding and wanted to preserve and relive the day through our photos, but that's been robbed from us."

Photographer Chad Keffer, who specializes in luxury destination weddings, said the undeveloped photos were stolen from a silver Chevy Tahoe parked at 360 Northeast 62nd Street in the Little River neighborhood. He is now offering a $10,000 reward for the photos, which were located in a brown box and packaged to be delievered to a photo lab in California.

Keffer said the photos are worthless to the person who stole them but invaluable to the bride and groom.

"These canister[s] are worthless to anyone else but priceless to us," the couple said in a statement. "We think the box or film canisters are either in someone's possession, or they were discarded and are laying on someone's property."

Police are investigating the theft but Keffer hopes the film is returned unharmed. The couple said they will not press charges if they get the photos back.

"We're counting on the good people of South Florida to keep their eyes open. If anyone knows anything that could help us get it back, please let us know."
