A surveillance video released by the Broward County SheriffÂ’s Office shows a man in jeans and a T-shirt riding a bicycle with another shirt tied around his head. The sheriff's office said the man threw a rock through the windshield of a 2007 black Jaguar and returned six days later to sling a series of rocks at high-end cars.

Authorities are searching for a man who used a pink umbrella to shield himself from the rain as he burglarized several vehicles in Pompano Beach, the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.

Surveillance video released by the sheriff’s office shows the suspect breaking into cars in a neighborhood around 4 a.m. on April 28.

At one point, the man, checking for unlocked cars, uses a pink umbrella stolen from another vehicle to stay dry as he continues to ransack other cars, officials said.
