Wilton Manors Murder Suspect Caught Heading North

Polk County authorities have arrested a man police believe killed two men in Wilton Manors over the weekend.

Peter Serge Avsenew, 26, was captured near Dundee, Fl., miles away from where police said he murdered Kevin Mark Powell and Stephen Adams on Sunday. The couple was found dead in their home by police.

Avsenew, who is from Hollywood, was spotted by cops in Powell's black 2003 Saturn Vue.

No charges have been filed yet, but Wilton Manors police have labeled Avsenew the lead suspect. He is expected to be extradited to Broward County soon.

Police have not released how the two men died or what the motive might have been.
