The Pembroke Pines Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 33-year-old man they say suffers from Schizophrenia.

James Louis Jones, 33, has been missing since Tuesday after his family said he walked away from a home on the 8500 block of Northwest 10th Street.

Police said Jones has been off his medication and has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old child. He was last seen making a purchase at a 7-Eleven store on University Drive and Johnson Street at 1 a.m. Wednesday.

Jones is 5-feet-9-inches tall, weighs 160 pounds and has black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan T-shirt.
