Four people were apprehended following a police pursuit on I-75 in West Broward Tuesday.
Police chased the car east on Alligator Alley from Collier County. Footage showed the white four-door car traveling at high speeds on the highway.
Collier County Sheriff's Office said deputies tried to stop the vehicle during a routine stop for illegal window tints at mile marker 94. The driver refused to stop and the chase continued until mile marker 41 in West Broward, police said.
Deputies said Broward Sheriff's Office was unable to pick up the chase, so they decided to stop chasing the suspect due to the driving risks in a more populated area.
Florida Highway Patrol was able to eventually stop the car and arrested four males. The identities of the suspects were not yet released.
