Two people are in custody as Miami-Dade Police investigate a grow house in West Kendall.

Officials were alerted to a home burglary at Southwest 137th Avenue and 71st Street. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered 21 marijuana plants valued at $50,000.

Javier Chill Lovio and Pedro Cabrera Gonzalez, both 36, were charged with burglary of an unoccupied residence and criminal mischief, according to Miami-Dade arrest reports.

Authorities did not immediately release the homeowner's name or additional details of the investigation, but said additional charges are pending.
