Police in Pembroke Pines say a teenager who had been missing since leaving school on Wednesday has been found safe.
Denaysia Renay Walker, 17, was last seen leaving West Broward High School just before noon Wednesday following her third period class.
Police announced Friday afternoon that she has been located and is in good heath.
Police believed the teen runaway may have been in danger because the group home Denaysia was living in claimed to have found a note left by the teen in which she stated she was depressed and was considering harming herself.
No other details were provided about where the teen was during the time she was missing.
