U.S. Marine Arrested in Deadly Shooting

Man shot in Miami-Dade parking lot, men in uniform questioned

Miami-Dade Police have arrested a man they think is responsible for a fatal shooting Tuesday night near a popular strip club.

Kenneth Shika, 25, is charged with murder for allegedly gunning down 25-year-old Kevin Toledo in a gas station parking lot at 7220 Northwest 36th St., near the Hilton Garden Inn on Northwest 74th Ave.

Shika is a U.S. Marine reservist in West Palm Beach.

Police said the two men had been in an argument moments earlier at the Booby Trap strip club. Detectives questioned three military men, who were still in uniform, early Wednesday morning to see it they were involved in the shooting, before turning their attention to Shika.

Shika was eventually found in Doral.

It's unclear what the argument in the strip club was about or what happened that led to the shooting.
