Police are searching for a gunman who shot and killed a man in the Wynwood area of Miami early Saturday morning.
Miami Police said 41-year-old Thomas Quass was walking to his car with his girlfriend in the area of 51 NW 26th Street around 1:15 a.m. when they were confronted by a man with a gun. Police said Quass exchanged words with the gunman and was then shot.
The gunmen fled by jumping into the passenger side of a grey 2013 to 2015 2-door Hyundai Veloster.
Miami Fire Rescue rushed Quass to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where he later died.
