A serial robber struck again – robbing at least 16 stores in South Florida – all at gun point, according to police.

The crook robbed another store Friday evening at the Advance America Store inside the Westland Promenade shopping center in Hialeah.

“The employee and him make their way towards the back of the store and for no apparent reason, he pistol whips the victim in this case,” said Eddie Rodriguez of Hialeah Police.

Luckily, the employee walked away with minor bumps and bruises. But Sgt. Eddie Rodriguez said the next victim might not be as lucky.

“We’re asking for the public for their help. We just need you to look at his picture. We need you to share it,” said Sgt. Rodriguez.

The brazen armed robberies took place at three Hialeah businesses on three separate occasions. The first was on December 29th. That’s when police said he walked into the Shell Gas Station West Fourth Avenue pretending to be a customer.

“Once he makes his way up to the register, he produces a fire arm and at gun point, orders the victim to provide him with the money that’s inside the register,” said Sgt. Rodriguez.

He took off before cops caught him and then targeted another unsuspecting clerk less than 30 minutes later on East 49th Street.

“He arrived at another gas station, a Speedway gas station and does the same thing,” said Sgt. Rodriguez.

A multi-agency task force is reminding the public that any tips leading to an arrest could mean a cash reward.

“In this case, the ATF is offering up to a $10,000 reward for the arrest of this man,” said Sgt. Rodriguez.

If you have any information on these crimes, you’re urged to call Hialeah Police of Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
