Police are searching for a man who tried to burglarize a van in Hialeah early Friday morning.
An officer spotted the man trying to break into the van around 1:45 a.m. in the 3100 block of West 70th Street, officials said.
The suspect fled on foot as police set up a perimeter in the area to search for the man. A helicopter joined in the search but the suspect wasn't found.
No injuries were reported.
