Miami Dade Police are closer to finding the two men who ambushed a home and handcuffed the homeowners - all because it was caught on camera

Surveillance video shows two armed men breaking into the home last week posing as cops. Police identified one suspect as Usmael "Mylo" Carvajal

Carvajal and another unidentified man were seen breaking into the home on Southwest 159th street and 98th Avenue wearing vests and a police badge.

Police say three kids were inside the home sleeping at the time but luckily were not injured

“When the duo made it inside, they handcuffed the homeowners and forced them open their safe,” said MDPD Det. Argemis Colome.

The family of five has since repaired their front door - but neighbors are still shaken up from this break in and hope detectives find the two men responsible for stealing everyone's security
