A Lauderdale Lakes teen is accused of killing his elderly neighbor, brutally stabbing her and leaving her to bleed to death, for just $34.

A Lauderdale Lakes teen is accused of killing his elderly neighbor, brutally stabbing her and leaving her to bleed to death, for just $34.

Vibbins Williams, 62, was found in a pool of blood and clinging to life by her granddaughter Saturday night in her home on the 4800 block of NW 24th Ct.

Williams was rushed to Broward General Medical Center, where she died as a result of her wounds.

According to Broward Sheriff's Office detectives, the 16-year-old neighbor of Williams confessed to stabbing her during a robbery.

Police said he made off with just $34.

The teen was charged with first-degree murder and was being held in a juvenile assessment center in Ft. Lauderdale.
