A threat that prompted an evacuation at Pompano Beach Middle School Tuesday morning was deemed a hoax, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
The school board said the students were safe and that they were relocated to nearby Chester Park as BSO investigated the threat.
The school is located at 310 Northeast Sixth Street in Pompano Beach.
No further details were immediately available.
