Finance experts say web companies are pooling resources to help save you money
Robert Deck and his wife are now driving a Mini Cooper and he is delighted about it.
They got out of a real jam: He was driving a BMW, a lease of over $800 a month and using a site called leasetrader.com, he was able to unload his expensive BMW for a $20,000 payoff. Something in this tough economy he could not longer afford.
Deck found out about a series of websites that pool their resources: Experts say companies are now willing to join hands, and if you pool websites, when combined, they can save you money on every type of monthly bill."If you need any help, they have great customer service people to walk you through the process like 1-2-3," Deck said.
"This is just one avenue where someone made a decision and they find themselves in a pinch," said finance expert Cathy Pereto. She said the concept of pooling web resources to cut your bills makes saving money much easier.
Under billshrink.com, you can also find deals on things like cellphones, DSL service, credit cards -- and it all adds up.
Pereto said Deck also had access to rentometer.com, which will show you what others in your neighborhood are paying for rent. Armed with that information, visit your landlord.
