The postal service released surveillance video Monday of two men fleeing after stealing a postal carrier's master key in early December.

"A female carrier was delivering mail facing the mailbox when two young black males approached her.
One came from behind her and put his hands over her mouth," said Postal Inspector Blanca Alvarez.

Then the other suspect came to her side and stole her keys, official said.

The video released shows the men fleeing the scene of the Dec. 26 incident on foot then inspector say a black compact car with a rear spoiler drove off.

The U.S Postal Service has offered a $25,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of any suspects involved in this or any other crime targeting a postal employee.

Postal Inspector Ivan Ramirez said there have been 11 similar robberies since December 2010. The first case was a botched robbery that ended in the death of postal carrier Bruce Parton. Most of these crimes have taken place in the North Miami area and most remained unsolved, he said
