President Barack Obama arrived in Miami Wednesday to visit the National Hurricane Center and attend two Democratic Party fundraisers.
Air Force One landed at Miami International Airport just before 4 p.m. and President Obama was greeted by Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine.
The two fundraisers are scheduled for Wednesday. About 90 supporters have paid about $33,400 to attend, according to the DNC.
On Thursday, President Obama will take part in the NHC's annual hurricane preparedness briefing. The 2015 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins June 1.
