Man With Drowning Fetish Wanted to Dunk Girls: Prosecutor

Ohio man traveled to Miami to live out sexual fantasy

Jeffrey Doland may have issues.

Prosecutors say the Ohio man flew to Miami in 2007 to fulfill his so-called drowning fetish, hoping to exchange $500 for the chance to dunk and drown a woman's two young girls, according to the Miami Herald.

Doland had met the woman, Kathy, online and wouldn't you know it, Kathy was actually U.S. Secret Service Agent Eric Adams.

Doland was busted on attempted sex and child abuse charges, and his trial began yesterday with prosecutors detailing the disturbing evidence.

The 47-year-old married Doland, a school district tech worker from Uniontown, Ohio, met single mother "Kathy" in the Yahoo chat room fetishes14, offering $500 to allow him to dunk the girls, ages 12 and 9, while wearing "skimpy trunks."

Doland, 47, chatted several times with "Kathy," using the screen name dunkingstool. In one entry, Doland said he was "thinking the girls would be cuffed and tied to a cement block dropped in the deep end." "I love long hair floating underwater," another read. "Cannot wait to see them drowning."

Prosecutors said Doland lied to his wife, telling her he was going to Miami on a diving trip. When he arrived at MIA, he was met by an undercover officer posing as "Kathy." He gave her $501 dollars and suggested they buy velcro straps to tie the girls down.

Yesterday, Doland's lawyer said it was all a mistake, and that Doland, unhappy with his marriage, was just trying to connect with another woman.

"What went on in this fantasy land was never going to be played out," defense attorney Paul Donnelly said, according to the Herald.
