If you love cooler weather in South Florida, enjoy what’s in store for Thursday because the latest front dropping temperatures and humidity won’t be around for long.

Parts of Miami-Dade and Broward counties woke up to temperatures in the low 50s – with the upper 40s reported as far south as West Palm Beach and Fort Myers – which are at least 15 degrees cooler than just one day before with high temperatures forecasted to barely reach the mid-70s.

By Friday, the warm up begins across the area with morning lows in the mid-60s and highs close to 80 degrees. By Sunday, it’s officially hot again with low temperatures in the mid-70s and highs into the mid-80s with a 40 percent chance of rain.

But, you won’t want to put those jackets away for too long as another cold front arrives by Monday with morning temperatures back in the low 50s by Tuesday and Wednesday of next week and highs barely reaching the low 70s both days.
