For the first time ever, residents walking around downtown Miami over the weekend will be able to look up at the JW Marriott Marquee and see local celebrities, community leaders or maybe a friend, wearing a hard hat and harnesses and repelling 200 meters down the glass walls of the hotel.

Plantation Dog Recognized for Saving Her Owner

The "Over the Edge" adventure is all in the name of charity and in support of the Miami Children's Initiative, helping children and families in Liberty City.

Renee Ward, president and CEO of Miami Children's Initiative said, “They know that the adults that are doing this for them are supporting them in every way possible and that’s exactly why we're here.”
