Usually when the alarm sounds in a strip cub, a stream of women come pouring out of the back and hit the stages. The dancers are hot at Diamonds Cabaret, but the building was on fire Thursday.

A two-alarm fire erupted at the pleasure palace that needed more than 40 firefighters to extinguish. Luckily, no strippers were on duty at the time. No one else was injured either.

It took about 45 minutes to get the blaze under control (that's enough time for about seven table dances if you're counting). Miami-Dade authorities are still investigating what caused the blaze, which occurred at about 10:20 a.m. Fire officials did say the fire seemed to be "suspicious," but would not elaborate.

Officials were concerned the fire could really have spiraled out of control because of all the liquor stored at the bar.

Sad to say, there will be no lap dances at Diamonds tonight or in the near future. You'll have to make it rain somewhere else.
