Romney Reaches Out to Florida's Spanish-Speaking Voters in New Ad

The television ad, "Nosotros," came out Wednesday in Florida

The day after his resounding primary win in New Hampshire, Mitt Romney's presidential campaign released a new Spanish television advertisement in Florida Wednesday entitled "Nosotros."

“The United States represents liberty, opportunity, where anything is possible," Craig Romney, the conservative businessman's son, says en español in the spot, which arrived 20 days before Florida's presidential primary on Jan. 31.

Craig Romney also says that his father, the Republican Party's frontrunner, believes in American values and will fight to restore the greatness of the nation.

Former Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart touts Romney's jobs plan, and Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen says, “Mitt Romney has the vision to restore the country’s national security."

The former Massachusetts governor, who has moved on to South Carolina with the rest of the GOP field, holds a narrow lead over President Obama in a potential general election matchup in Florida, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

The Republican was favored by 46 percent of registered voters compared to the incumbent Democrat's 43 percent.

"Soy Mitt Romney y apruebo este mensaje," the candidate says at the end of the 30-second spot. "Muchas gracias."
