Well that didn't take long.
Less than 48 hours, after credit card receipts revealed former House speaker and Senate hopeful Marco Rubio went willy nilly with a state GOP American Express card, the Democrats have pounced with a spoof of the Master Card priceless commercials.
The commercial details some of the more lavish personal expenses Rubio charged to the AMEX card like his dinner bills in Tallahassee. We would have liked for them to bring out a few vikings to chase some Republicans around asking, "What's in your wallet?" but that might be for the next round of campaign ads.
The fake commercial should have also mentioned Rubio's many personal trips paid for by the GOP.
Rubio admitted Friday that $3,000 in airfare charged to the game were a "mistake" and that he would pay the party back. He still claims the $14,000 in other expenses such as $133 hair cuts and pricey trips to the convenience store are all too legit to pay back.
Gov. Charlie Crist, Rubio's nemesis, has also got in a few jabs at the Miami resident while the governor was in South Florida. Rubio has accused Crist's campaign for leaking the credit card statements to the media.
Crist didn't exactly deny it on Friday.
"Like I said yesterday, welcome to the NFL. If you can’t take the heat get out of the kitchen," Crist told the Miami Herald. "He is the one who made these charges, not me, not any of my friends."
