    NBC 6 Reporter Marissa Bagg is in Laurderhill, after reports of an active shooter at a grocery store sparked panic among many.

    Officers from the Lauderdale Police Department and Broward Sheriff's Office responded to reports of an active shooter inside a grocery store.

    Crews responded around 12:15 p.m. at the Winn Dixie located at 1531 North State Road 7. SWAT team members were called to the scene, staying for about an hour and a half.

    No information has been released about any potential victims. Lauderhill Police say there is no indication there was a hostage situation and that no shooter was found, however an investigation continues.

    Three schools in the area - Castle Hill Elementary, Lauderhill Paul Turner Elementary and Lauderhill 6-12 STEM-MED Magnet - were placed on lockdown as a precaution.
