The Ellen DeGeneres Show
Miami resident Maria Holloway meets Ellen face-to-face.
Maria Holloway loves her some Ellen DeGeneres and it appears the feeling is mutual.
Holloway, arguably one of the most memorable and loudest guests ever on "Ellen," will be back at it Friday as part of DeGeneres' 12 Days of Giveaways shows.
In October, Holloway unleashed a scream that could be heard from Land Shark Stadium all the way back to DeGeneres' studios in Burbank. And that's without the use of a microphone or television equipment.
Since her run in with Holloway, DeGeneres has been rumored to have to ask people to constantly repeat themselves because all she hears is her Miami admirer.
Holloway received a new GMC truck, $2,500 in cash and tickets for her family to the Dolphins-Jets Monday Night Football game.
Holloway, 47, wrote to "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" earlier this year after her husband, Tom, was laid off from his job as an electrical engineer. Holloway herself couldn’t find work as a freelance classical pianist and the two children were becoming depressed about the situation, she wrote.
The family of four had spent up all its savings and was months behind on their rent, when Holloway decided to e-mail her favorite show for a little help.
Now Holloway gets to meet Ellen in person. Holloway will also give an update on how DeGeneres' generosity has improved her situation and she may be in for a surprise (shhh! don't tell anybody).
So tune in and cover your ears because Holloway will likely release her inner banshee again and you don't want to be caught unprepared.
