Search Continues for Attempted Kidnapper in Hollywood

Hollywood Police said they are now investigating a fourth alleged attempted abduction.

The fourth alleged incident happened near the location of the latest attempted abduction, by the intersection of 19th Avenue and McKinley Street.

"I am so scared to know that someone touched my daughter," said Elsa Desrosiers, the mother of the latest victim. "I want this creep caught. I want him behind bars so he won't hurt another child again."

Police said the man, suspected to be in his 20s, came up from behind this fourth victim and grabbed her buttocks as she was walking down the street.

Two sketches have been released in the search for the suspect. A new sketch released Friday is based on information from the first three victims. Police said that although the two sketches differ, they believe it is the same person.

The attempted abductor allegedly tried to grab his first victim around 6:30 Friday morning on the 1900 block of Funston Street in Hollywood. The second attempted abduction was on South 21st Avenue, police said.

One father said that having this man still on the loose will prompt his family to make different trick-or-treating arrangements.

"I'll take them to a mall or something like that, or go in crowds," the man said. "The last thing we want to see is two or three kids out there by themselves."

Police presence was increased in the neighborhood Friday night as children trick-or-treated. Officers say they are investigating several leads.

"If you see something, say something," Fernandez said. "We're looking at all of our sexual predators who live in Hollywood, we're making visits."

Police are asking anyone with information to call Broward Crime Stoppers at (954) 493-TIPS (8477).
