Officials in North Bay Village said they've fixed an issue that had a restaurant's raw sewage nearly spilling into Biscayne Bay Monday.
The restaurant at 1880 Kennedy Causeway was having a grease trap issue that's causing the sewage to spill, North Bay Village officials said.
The Miami-Dade Department of Environmental Resources Management and Envirowaste, which specializes in oil cleanup, were called to the site.
But public works officials said the leak was intercepted before it was able to spill into the bay.
