Two shark attacks on Florida’s Space Coast yesterday have some wondering if it’s safe to go back in the water

Sharks attacked two Floridians within five minutes of each other yesterday.

Floridians on the Space Coast don’t have to wait for Discovery Channel’s Shark Week to hear about shark attacks.
On Saturday, two minor attacks were reported. The first was a middle-aged man who was bitten on the hand. He was, however, able to drive himself to a local hospital.
The second attack was a 49-year-old man who was bitten on the foot.
The attacks were reported within five minutes of each other in the same area of New Smyrna Beach.
It has not been confirmed what types of sharks attacked either man.
