    A shoplifter at an Oakland Park store lost his shirt as fled the scene of the crime last Thursday.

    A manager at the Family Dollar store located at 2901 W. Oakland Park Blvd. confronted a shoplifter who was shoving items into his pants, according to deputies.

    The surveillance video captures the manager grabbing the man’s arms when he tried to flee. Deputies said the man yelled for her to let go of him, but when she refused, he struggled until she pulled his sweater off his body.

    The shirtless shopper fled in a dark red truck with a partial Florida tag that read “BED”. He made off with more an a hundred dollars worth of merchandise, deputies said.
