Shoppers Flocking to Supermarket, Preparing for Hurricane Matthew in Jamaica

Shoppers in Kingston, Jamaica are heading to their local supermarket to stock up on essentials in anticipation for Hurricane Matthew.

Jamaica and Haiti continue to be under a Hurricane Watch with Matthew expected to approach late Sunday night and Monday.

With maximum amounts of 25 inches expected across Jamaica, shoppers are making sure they're prepared for anything.

"They said it was upgraded to a Category 5 hurricane," a shopper said. "We haven't had such a big storm so we're just preparing for it."

After being the the strongest hurricane in the Atlantic since Felix in 2007, Hurricane Matthew weakened slightly down to a Category 4 storm Saturday morning.
