Heavy rains overnight and throughout the day have caused flooding in Lauderhill Thursday.

Officials said four to five inches fell within several hours. The 7900 block of NW 50 Street was not passable.

The rain was expected to continue Thursday as breezy showers will zip onshore and quickly move inland in South Florida.
