A silent march is underway in Little Haiti as people gathered to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the massive earthquake in Haiti.
The event started Friday at 4 p.m. IT started at 62nd Street and North Miami Avenue and will end at the Little Haiti Cultural Center.
The devastating 7.0 earthquake struck just after 4 p.m. on January 12, 2010 just 10 miles southwest of Port-au-Prince. The earthquake killed over 210,000 people.
