Sketch Released in Pembroke Park Postal Worker Assault

Authorities released a sketch Wednesday of one of the suspects who assaulted and robbed a United States Postal Service worker in Pembroke Park.

The postal worker, who has been a letter carrier for 20 years, was attacked from behind and had his mail keys stolen by two suspects on Thursday in the area of the 3400 block of Southwest 52nd Avenue, authorities said. He was taken to a nearby hospital with head wounds.

On Friday, postal inspectors distributed flyers in the area where the attack happened.

Authorities said they're looking for two white males, both about 6-foot and 200 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
