Son, 19, Fatally Stabs Florida Mom's Boyfriend

A 19-year-old faces murder charges after authorities say he stabbed his mother's boyfriend during an argument at their home in Port Orange.
 
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports several people were at the home on Tuesday night, drinking, listening to music and skateboarding. At some point, the music stopped and a loud argument broke out between 55-year-old Donna Reitzel and her 52-year-old boyfriend William Brooks Jr.
 
Dylan Reitzel faces first-degree murder charges. Police say Donna Reitzel told her son that her boyfriend had hit her. That's when the son started arguing with the boyfriend. Dylan Reitzel told police he grabbed a knife and stabbed a tire on a Jeep before returning inside. During a fight that ensued, Brooks was stabbed.
 
Brooks was taken to a hospital, where he died.
